The Center for Education in Art and the Wojciech Kilar Music School Complex No. 2 in Rzeszow are the organizers of the competition. The competition is a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation. The Fryderyk Chopin Institute is supporting the competition

  • Competition held every three years starting from 2019. The previous editions were held every two years.

 

Common experiencing of Chopin’s music by young pianists from Poland and other countries is the chief idea of this competition. It is important to share knowledge and experience and to communicate across cultures due to Fryderyk Chopin’s music, which constitutes an universal language.
